A Slice Of Life

A Slice Of Life

Fetch me my thoughts old boy
As I pull down the shades on my window pane
I've put on my spandex brain pants
To go walking along memory lane
It's hard to say how long I'll be
I may have to travel across land and sea
As I dream up adventures deep within me
The weather could change as quick as a wink
Going from storm to a sunset in pink
When I awake from my snooze in this seat
I'm sure to be ready to get to my feet
It's hard to say were the line should be drawn
Between the fun of a day and dust until dawn
But I surely respect the importance of both
I solemnly swear with the power of oath
That a dream is a slice
Of this thing we call life

I Love Writing Poetry

I Love Writing Poetry

Call it therapeutic or a form of art or maybe just good old fashion brain exercise, it really doesn't matter, because they are all good reasons to write.
The fun part is reading it after I'm done.
I try not to judge my poetry for better or worse. I just accept it for what it is.
I try my best to do the same with people I meet or hear about.
Every thing in this world has a reason for existing, but more importantly, has the right to exist without ridicule and has the right to large quantities of healthy love on a daily basis.

I Love The Rain

I Love The Rain

Mother nature has spread the sky with grey jam today.
Its suppose to rain a little.
Either way I love the rain.
I've met some people that go insane in the rain.
I've even met some people that feel great emotional and physical pain in the rain.
But its all just the same.
Falling droplets of water from above.
What a concept
Who would have thought.
It's a miracle I will always love.
Thank you God for the water that flows
For the wind that blows
For the sun that glows
And for the earth that grows

You must really love us
Cleanse your soul
Go dancing in the rain

True Forgiveness

True Forgiveness

I believe true forgiveness is measured by the level of compassion and Love you give back to the ones that hurt you, no matter how deep the wound goes.

Love Comes In Three's

Love Comes In Threes

I am alive, and for that
I will strive to better understand right from wrong
I am strong, and for that
I will help my world for as long at it will take
To make amends by calling
Upon Gods Love that lends a hand
To keep me from falling
I am longing for my love that comes in threes
My heart cries out in silence
From the absence of their presence
In tones of great sadness
I may only be the supplier of the seed
To which the birth of my three babies did need
None the less, the pain I feel is very real
I will always hold strong with even keel
Until my babies come home to me.

One Thing

One Thing

There are few things that he has dreamed of and imagined doing for the rest of his life, up till now, while he lives out the rest of his days on his own.
One of these things, so profound, comes to mind every moment of every day,
He wonders how he failed to see himself growing to comfortable with this one thing, so much so, that he was blind to the possibility of loosing this one thing through his own ignorance and stubbornness.
Now this one thing is gone and all that he has left are bitter sweet memories of that one thing that will never be coming home.
The honest one hides nothing to the meek as he follows no one. but asks for guidance from the few who echo a constant flux of universal trust, while he lives a life of least resistance, bringing joy to his existence no matter how far the distance his adventure will unfold.
He knows that none of the worldly non-sense deeply satisfies his soul quite like it.
Energy drifts in and out of holes filled mostly with space that are mounted upon his face, that were once blurred by a life of hyper pace.
Further more, forever more, stands many monumental memories, like a guiding beacon on a rocky shore, shaped by the lapping waves of experience, shaded in tints of blue hue.
He now knows what he must do to release his mind forever more from this one thing that loves him no more
He ventures forth for something new, that might be looking for something too.
He knows he'll find just what he needs, draw to him from his thoughtful deeds.

Hollow Man ( Wet Your Heart )

Hollow Man
( Wet Your Heart )

Hollow man of heart so dry
Outside your door the angels cry
They catch their tears within a glass
And pray for you at Sunday mass
Before your heart then turns to dust
Quench your thirst, begin to trust
The choice is yours to love again
And free yourself from inner pain
God speed young man
Your help has come
The words you voice will bring undone
Forever more your soul has won
The love it needs to wet your heart

Being Human

Being Human

I am human
I am being
This is what was meant to be
Beneath my layers, if you would peel
You will find the Loving Sun
Here is where it all begun
Shining bright from core to crust
Giving free it's life for us
You are human
You are being
This is what was meant to be
You can see
You can feel
If you believe and learn to trust

Inner Spirit, Outer Man

Inner Spirit, Outer Man

The place that I was searching for
I need not look outside no more
It was in me all along
Quiet, still and strong
Good and kind is what I am
Inner spirit, outer man
Self sustaining and complete
Standing tall upon my feet
Made from recycled word
That I have red, felt and heard
From book, God and human form
Since the day that I was born
With an inner eye that’s clear
Free from busyness, stress and fear
The power of Love fills me whole
Lighting my mind, body and soul
Now I give to others in need
By writing words for them to read
For inner light so they can find
A place inside their inner mind
That’s quiet, still and strong
Where there’s light the dark will flee
Good and Kind is what they’ll see
Inner spirit, outer man
Self sustaining and complete
Standing tall upon their feet
Made from recycled word
That they have red, felt and heard
From book, God and human form
Since the day that they were born
With an inner eye that’s clear
Free from busyness, stress and fear
The power of Love will fill them whole
Lighting their mind, body and soul
They will give to others in need
By writing words for others to read

A Piece Of Scrap

A Piece Of Scrap

I remember when I was a piece of Scrap
Thrown to the curb and there I sat
I was alone and my heart was broken
From events that had past and the words that were spoken
I hoped for better days to come
To be renewed and loved by someone
I learned at first I must love myself
And count my blessings as my greatest wealth
The days went by and before I new it
My climb was over, I had reached my summit
I felt renewed and full of love again
I knew now that the road ahead could now sustain
I learned a great lesson through my struggles abound
That great treasures can be had from the scrap there be found.

Upside Down

Upside Down

Another adventure began for BigBang
When drawn to the Artist who's paint brush sang
Across Black's canvas ran the colors of Truth
Old was his wisdom but a vision of youth
With stories here told by the free Wheeler man
Of disguise and the " Jester" and political scam
Last but not least came the Livermore fellow
Who's pronoia perception glowed of bright yellow
Believable words beyond belief were exchanged
With consensus of hope for a world rearranged
We drifted in and out of virtual consciousness
And a collective state of awoken awareness
We talked of the normal that made up the norm
Who follow man's rules and stay put in their dorm
Gave praise to the ones that produce the best fruits
Labeled as crazy by the leaders in cahoots
That dance their little jig in a single file
To an off beat tune that is rotten and vile
But we all drag a cross that we've chosen to bare
Perceived as a victim or path that is fair
Whether bottom you be looking up at it all
Or perched, looking down, from the top of your wall
If you don't like the place that you've chosen to be
Turn your wall upside-down to change how you see

The Skipping Stone

The Skipping Stone

I pondered upon a rock that I rode, as it skipped across the surface of the universe's endless depths that lay below me; Feeling each gentle intermittent bump.
Positive energy radiated in wave lengths of kindness and love throughout the empty spaces of my heart, leaving a gift of celestial alignment and fuel for my soul to carry on.
If you dare to venture on beyond the borders of familiarity with the hopes of returning with more than you left with, you may or may not return home to find that what was once familiar is no more.

Upon A Bed Of Straw

Upon A Bed Of Straw

The people coming in and out must hear what needs to be said by the end of today, of which is written in the third language upon the Rosetta Stone that rests along the banks of the Nile. But be careful not to break the glass box with the striking of the sword that will cast the miracle upon us all.
So many things have come to pass that have been so easily forgotten, but until we can remember we shall sleep upon a bed of straw.

If This - Than That

If This - Than That

If you are happy with nothing
Than nothing becomes of you
And you shall have nothing
And nothing you shall have to give
But
If you are happy with everything
Than everything becomes of you
And you shall have everything
And everything you shall have to give
And If
You give everything away
To those who have nothing
That are in need of something
Then
You shall be given the greatest Gift of all
Love and Happiness Within

Come Sun Come

Come Sun Come

I'm fixed upon my rock that rests at the cross roads
And stare without focus toward the setting sun
I give my thanks and say farewell
To a journey that I think went rather swell
Quietly I drift into a dream
Waiting for the sun's invitation to begin again
Come Sun Come I feel no regret and I have no shame
Remember me for who I am now
And not for my past that was once to blame

Lawfully Wedded Wife

Lawfully Wedded Wife

Do you take this lawfully wedded wife
By doing so you agree to sign away your life
Her wants and needs will far exceed the pay that you bring home
She'll go to the banker and demand a giant loan
She'll tell you that it slipped her mind to take her birth control
And in nine months you'll be Dad to a baby soul
Your classic car will sit and rust
A second job will be a must
The time you spend at home will shrink
The stress will cause you both to drink
Before you figure out what's wrong
The lawyer sings an ugly song
She'll leave and blame it all on you
She'll move away with someone new
She'll take the Kids you love and share
The pain will be to much to bare
Until you find another way
As you fight for a better day
You will never give up on what you believe
Until the day you die or you receive
So here's to all the good men that never lost hope
And fought too find a way to cope
Your courage and bravery will help pave the way
Giving strength to other men to stand up for what's right and have their say

Forever Be Free

Forever Be Free

You are a breath of fresh air
You are the one who opened your heart
I was the one who acted upon the dare
I was the one who let go of fear to accept your care
In this world of virtuality
Where things are not as they appear
The prison walls have now been breached
The falsely accused innocent minds in fear
Where truth they have finally reached
This new powerful force dressed in white
Trusting in the law of attraction
Will send the dark force into flight
And no longer fooled by visual distraction
Close your eyes and open your heart
Escape through the breach to begin a new start
Trust in your feelings and not what you see
Trust in the light and forever be free

Close Your Eyes

Close Your Eyes

A castle is just another shelter to rest
A run down shack is no longer hard to digest
An exotic car is just a ride from A to B
A rusty clunker is a cup of tea
An elegant dress and painted skin
A beauty contest no one will ever win
With eyelids up, you close your eyes
You'll cease to see the projected lies
When all the smoke and mirrors are gone
You'll truly feel loved and know that you belong.

Without Me

Without Me

The sun comes up in the East
The music plays to calm the savage beast
You can count on that
Reproduction of the human race
The death of a beautiful face
You can count on that
The good and the bad
The sane and the mad
You can count on that
Insemination of a thought into my mental womb
Endless treasures will emerge from my cocoon
You can count on that
I can see all there is to show
I can know all there is to know
While I stand here on this rock
I pay no heed to the face of the worldly clock
I put my trust in the great Divine
Eat the bread and drink the wine
No more concern is wasted on how things come to be
I believe all will happen with or without me

Family

Family

I'll give you a warm welcome smile upon our first greet
I'll ask if your hungry and need food to eat
I'll invite you to sit in this comfortable seat
To rest for a while and put up your feet
I'll make you a meal of veggie and meat
I'll ask if you need to rest because your beat
I'll make up a bed with blanket and sheets
After your rest and your strength is restored
I'll offer a drink of which I have poured
I'll give you my time so you don't feel ignored
When you're ready to leave and go out on your own
I'll turn on a light to guide you back home
