This Mighty River
Connects Us All
Here amongst these trees I think and sit
Upon this rocky out crop brightly lite
In the distance this mighty river calls
An invitation to walk its ancient shores
A journey downstream toward the sea
That began long before you and me
Its always given more to us than it takes
Blessing us with it's flowing grace
By filling the oceans and the lakes
It offers a home to fish we love to eat
It gives us clean water to wash our feet
Why then is it so
Disrespect, the people show
For lost in the depth of their soul
A mighty river flows to makes them whole
This is the love that connects us all
Follow the mighty river when you here it's call
