Embers Of My Heart (Version 02)

Embers Of My Heart
(Version 02)

Beat up and broken, left with half a heart
I dig the claws of my soul
into the cold hard rock that lay before me.
The Gail force winds are polluted
with particles of great loss and suffering,
threatening my existence, by attempting
to suffocate the last of my will to carry on.
Poisonous words fall like rain, turning to steam,
with intent to extinguish the embers of my heart.
Without warning, the Gail force winds give in
to find someone else to weak to fight.
Naked and cold, I turn on my back
to face the dark empty space all around me.
As I breath deep, I can feel
the clean cool air filling my broken body,
I sense healing vibrations
flowing through the core of my being.
I let out an uncontrollable trembling sigh,
let go, and start to cry.
I see images of angels
through the blurry window of my soul, go by.
I now know I'm not alone,
and can start to rekindle
the embers of my heart.

Angelic Song (Damage To My Heart Undone) Ver02

Angelic Song
(Damage To My Heart Undone)
(Version Two)

To Christ and Angels, I sincerely pray
For salvation to finally come my way
As I lay in my bed tonight all alone
Crying over the greatest loss I have ever known
Freedom from this deep pain I desperately need
Felt from my wound that continues to bleed
Glowing brightly-blue an Angel appears
Her love and warm embrace are finally here
Her divine presence begins to heal, singing an angelic song
Bursting out brilliant blue light all night long
Her music resonates control over her love spun thread
To the gash in my heart, glowing weave is led
Her elevated vibrations are on high
Drying up the puddles of pain I cried
Thank you, Angel-of-blue, and God's begotten Son
For the damage to my heart now undone
I'll spread your word Christ my Lord
Using my pen as a mighty sword

A Feather & A Flower

Feather
&
A Flower

Drifting astray,
Falling from a sky of grey,
A ruffled feather befriends a lonely flower,
Amidst a summer rain shower.
Upon her open peddles,
He gently settles.
Broken hearts,
Two halves combine.
One life now created.
 Loneliness quickly faded.
A colorful love, freeing their minds.
Inner peace they both will find.
From wind, earth, and drops of dew.
Their friendship inwardly grew.
This is how Verticordia came to be
The Feather-Flower
for all to see

MICHAEL

MICHAEL

This is me, they call me Michael
I’m not the type that’s suicidal
But Holy shit man Oh My God
People here are fucking flawed
Not to say they lack affordance
Just fuck-a-fied from using substance
I've survived and kept my wit
Staying clear of the Druggist's pit
Left or right I dare not snooze
The God Dam Gov has lite the fuse
Cops and Clerks, out to blame
Nothing ever stays the same
Public Puppets push false claims
Chems' are safe - they have no shame
I choose my thoughts as I see fit
And trash the rest that they trans-mit
Muddy rules constrict my shoes
A game designed for all to lose
Don’t forget my name is Michael
This fucking race is Homicidal
If I stay, I'll lose my grip
Leaders are controlling dicks
Prohibition, Pills, legal weed
Hypocritical Feds forcing creeds
Living here is quite insane
Illusion coursing through their veins
Life is good from where I sit
Staying clear of the Debter's pit
Along the way are blatant clues
Still the fools consume their glues
City life - A Dead-End Grind
Holy crap it blows my mind
Social Delusion a viral fad
Media claims it’s not so bad
Pushers push their opioids
Users fill their empty voids
This is not what life’s about
What the fuck, I just want out
But I’m still here, they call me Michael
Standing strong too end this cycle

A Kinder Life To Claim The Earth

A
 Kinder life
To Claim The Earth

The mind is poisoned; the soul lambasted.
A perfect creation abused and wasted
Blame-full souls repeating the past
Instilled with fear -- Their bodies slashed
Something drove them all insane
 Nothing more than death remains
Life like this cannot sustain
It must return from whence it came
This nameless thing does fear defeat
Control is crumbling beneath its feet
Its final end is soon at hand
First came water -- Flooding land
Bringing death to son and daughter
Now comes Flame -- The final stand
An end to fear -- An end to Slaughter
From the ash will bring new birth
A kinder life to claim the earth

Wake Now Version 02

Wake Now
Version 02

Can I resist the Temptation to eat
the ripened fruit of my Heart and Soul
Or will I rise beyond the reach of my own outstretched arm,
Freeing myself from self-imposed decomposition

Posed and standing strong am I
Knowing that I'll prevail
Comforted by thoughts of valor
I feel his presents and undying love for me

Late will never be the hour
To feast on my own heart and soul
For there is always room for one more
On his outstretched branches of infinite forgiveness

This place of peace and tranquility
Is always expanding and Omni-present
Existing within us all without reservation
I will wake now from this hypnotic sleep

Take back what is mine
And tend to the garden
Where grows the Tree of Life
That gives freely to all

Everything Happens For A Reason

Everything Happens For A Reason

Everything happens for a reason
And some of it is not very pleasin

Water falls from the sky in the form of  rain
The wind and the sun seem to do the same

Its always been this way since the day he said let it be
But distorted is the way us human choose to see

Ruler....Judge And Jury
Never a moments peace
Always in a hurry

Wrapping our new born souls in fleece with one hand
Then quickly converting them into beasts with the other

When will this reign of terror end
I hope its just around the bend

BENEVOLENCE

BENEVOLENCE

ALL THE WORLD'S' A STAGE
i'VE CHOSEN TO ENGAGE
i PLAY MY ONLY PART
EVERY MOMENT
HAS AN ENDING
EVERY ENDING
HAS A START
i GO HERE
i GO THERE
i REACH INTO MY POCKET
AND PAY MY HUMBLE SHARE
i TASTE THE EARTH
FROM FERTILE SOIL IT GIVETH BIRTH
i FEEL THE SUN
LIGHT AND WARMTH TILL DAY IS DONE
i BREATH THE AIR
A GIFT FOR ALL MANKIND TO SHARE
THE PLAYFUL WIND
THEN SCATTERS SEEDS
SPROUTING LIFE
TO BLESS MY NEEDS
THEN WATER FALLS FROM HIGH ABOVE
OF MANY THINGS i TRULY LOVE

The Death Of Dr. Doctrinaire

THE DEATH OF DR. DOCTRINAIRE

RED LIGHT FLASHING
HOPE WITHSTANDING
GATEWAY VALVE
WAS OPEN WIDE
PRESSURE GUSHED
THROUGHOUT HIS MIND
WRONGFUL DEEDS
HE HAD CONCEDED
UPON OTHERS
HE HAD TREATED
NOW RELEASED
FROM SELF-ILLUSION
FORWARD FACING
NO CONCLUSION
THERE WAS MUCH
TO BE UNDONE
STILL HIS STORY
WAS UNSUNG
NO MORE DOGMATIC
SELF-IMPOSED INFLICTION
PRAISE THE LONG AWAITED
DEATH AND CONVICTION
OF DR. DOCTRINAIRE
SOON THERE AFTER
PROCEEDED GREAT REPAIR
SPAWNING INNER LAUGHTER
REBIRTH COULD NOT COME TO SOON
FROM HIS PSYCHOLOGICAL MONSOON

Selfless Men (Version Two)

Selfless Men
(Version Two)

With blood and tears, the past was stained
Prevailing peace gives hope again
Blessed are we that all can stand
Upon this free and fertile land
Let us give respect in mass
For men of war that have since passed
For all the selfless men that fell
We place our poppies on lapel
Let''s remember with all our hearts
Each beloved man makes up the parts
Of what today our country has become
And pray that waging wars are forever done
