Ancient Winds

 Ancient Winds

I met a woman
While I was out
She was cool
A lot like me
We talked until
She had to go
Many things
She had to say
She told me what
Had led her here
She told me that
She faced her fear
She's going to build
A ship on earth
Cut her curls
And ride the surf
14 years
Has been enough
Freedom calls
From family stuff
Ancient winds
Torn her mast
Her past has past
She's moving fast
But still she hopes
To meet someone
To share her love
Till life is done
Could I be
The one for her
Could I love
I'm not to sure
It's been a while
I need no cure
For now I'll stay
Just as I am
Feast on meat
And pass on clam
Renea your not
The girl for me
At best a catalyst
To keep me free
Build your ship
I wish you luck
I'll trust the gears
In my old truck
The ancient winds
May change direction
A time for all
To make correction

Civil Eyes Nation

 Civil Eyes Nation

Nations of civil eyes
Spy's for those in disguise
Looking down
From machines
In the skies
The dawning
Of G men
With 5 billion ties
There are some
In the middle
Who would not
Deem it wise
But the beast
Has awoken
And is strong
Beyond size
The shadows
Have failed us
We must
Turn to the wise
There's more
To this riddle
That's seen
With your eyes
The foe
Is a macro
Injected from lies
Beware of the leader
That's swarming
With flies
Under the skin
Infestation
of hives
Gollumly speaking
And all it implies

Old Dancing Shoes

Old Dancing Shoes

Pack Pack Pack
Don't stop
Till the packins done

I used to think
This was so much
Fun fun fun

My life was like
A stack of boxes
Endless stuff
A hidden world of paradoxes

Haven't you heard
The news
All you need
Is an old pair
Of dancing shoes

It's time too
Shake those packin blues
Kick that cardboard
To the curb

Get up
Off your tuffet
Skip the whey
And toss the curd

Too much stuff
Weighing me down
It's so absurd

It's time to grab
Those Dancing shoes
And move beyond
Those cardboard cubes

When I was young
I lived for love
I lived for fun

Playing here
And playing there
A world free of care
Until the day
I lived my life
For a world
Of endless ware

Gone gone gone
Went all the
Innocence and fun
And the love I new
A world of warmth
had all gone numb

Haven't you heard
The news
All you need
Is an old pair
Of dancing shoes

Let it go
Let it go
Renew your love
Unbox the hate

Be the one
You choose to be
Free yourself
It not to late
