Beyond The Setting Sun

Beyond The Setting Sun

The Day is done - the Sun must go
Before it does there's one last show
Of painted clouds that sparkle and glow
Casting moving shadows on the earth below
This visual treat never grows old
I even heard that stories were told
Of Sunsets that made the mood just right
A red night sky brings Sailors' delight
Pink makes lovers hold each other tight
But my favorite part of the show by far
Are the countless colorful blinking stars
Shining through the colored clouds above
I imagine I'm blessed with stardust Love
That pumps my heart with inner sight
And charges my soul with fearless might
Now I can close my eyes and truly see
----------
Beyond The Setting Sun
A New Journey Has Just Begun

But more than this I know, that in each and every one of us exists
the energy and knowledge of the entire universe.
Your soul represents the Sun,  your billions of cells represent the Stars
that fill the universe, and your Brain represents the Earth.
Supporting it all is your blood that represents the consciousness,
memories and knowledge of the world.
Forgive And Begin Again
With The Rising Of A New Born Sun

Bucket Man

Bucket Man

Bucket Man with bucket mind
What a mess he leaves behind
The outside world is all he sees'
He lives his live above the knees'
Wanting this and wanting thater
His bulging bucket getting fatter
And when his bucket over flows
Higher and higher his bucket grows
No longer can he see the ground
Or hear the call of nature's sound
He selfishly seeks to own it all
The higher he goes the harder he'll fall
He'll never understand what he's truly worth
Until his feet reconnect with healing Earth

For All The Selfless Men (Version One)

Selfless Men
(Version One)

Yesterday the ground was stained with red red rain
Today the sky is bright and blue with hope again
Blessed are we that all can stand
Upon this free and fertile land
Let us then show our respects in mass
For those who fought in war that have since passed
By pinning poppies of red upon lapel
To show our respect for the selfless men that fell
Now take a moment to remember with our hearts
That each of these men, helped make up the parts
Of what today our country has become
And pray that waging wars are forever done

Self - Serving Plastic Walls Of Doom

Self-Serving Plastic Wall Of Doom
Music and Light still exist within you even though the self-serving plastic wall of doom continues to grow. Men and Woman have created a new god that they believe will keep them safe. But they never thought to ask the question: " What are we really hiding from here in the first place " !!! Could it be that they themselves are both King and Pawn. And just maybe, they have put themselves in checkmate, holding themselves captive. Regardless......a wall is a wall is a wall no matter if it's made from one plastic brick or countless amounts stacked high one on top of the other. What's important here is the purpose of the wall's true existence and not its presence. For the plastic wall will only ever serve one creator. But more often then not, the "ONE" that created the wall, is usually unaware of its own creation and certainly not in control. So what are you waiting for......Save yourself-----Climb your self-serving plastic wall of doom and destroy the seed from which it grew once and for all. Only them can you journey forward from the land of ambiguity within you to the world of reconciliation and beyond.
Here you will plant a new seed that will grow into something giving and beautiful.

Purpose Will Always Be Greater Than Its Presence

Purpose
Will Always Be Greater

There are days " that are ",
are days " that are not ",
but it is neither here nor there,
because in the grand scheme of things,
come what may,
a genuine need will always be fulfilled
whether or not it's purpose is seen or not seen
at the time of delivery
for it's purpose will always be
greater than its presence.

A Little Something That Wasn't There Before

A Little Something That Wasn't There Before
One morning not more than a few days ago, I sat quietly in a comfy leather chair at my favorite coffee shop. I come here almost every morning to think and write in my leather bound diary. I find it very relaxing and a great way to start my day. I can't tell you how long I was sitting for that particular morning when a patron from out of no where politely interrupted my morning ritual to asked if the chair directly across from me was taken. I looked up and found myself looking into two stunningly beautiful bright blue eyes. I had never seen her here before. She was not just the regular kind of beauty...oh no, she was something special. Her beauty went well beyond her physical appearance. I quickly responded back by saying "no not at all, your welcome to sit there". She wasted no time in making herself at home. Seconds later she commented on how busy it was and I simply said that this is usually how it is. Before long we were talking like old friends, as if we had known each other for decades. A feeling came over me that I had not felt in years but I wasn't about to tell her my little newly found secret.  She appeared to be younger than I was yet without a doubt I could see that she was an old sole like me. I fell in love instantly. In my fragile state of recently going through a divorce just 4 years prior, my inner voice quickly convinced me that I had no chance at all. I guess its just how guys think sometimes.  How could such perfection have any interest in a man like me. And its not like I haven't grown from the past: quite the opposite really. I think its because I know fair well that I have aged in appearance and the last thing a woman of her caliber looks for is a guy like me. Now wait a minute.....I know what you might be thinking this very moment;  that a woman is not attracted to a man that displays a lack of confidence and rightfully so. But lets be realistic here, I have confidence and I see myself as good looking but there are lots of other things going on here in my head far beyond my confidence and appearance. As a person gets older they are less likely to take chances and more inclined to lean toward security and a sure thing. And in my case the odds are stacked against me. First off, I have no place of my own (I rent). And secondly I don't have a huge income at the moment (work in progress). What does this have to do with anything you might ask. Well, to start with, If I were to date again I would like to have something to offer a person besides love and at this point I think that I would be cheating someone out of a good life because I am lacking in those areas. Both are equally important in my books....Love and financial security. Regardless of all that stuff, I felt that she liked me too and that was enough for me. Someday I will have financial success that I can add to my loving heart and kind personality, giving me the ability to successfully support a lasting relationship with a beautiful and complete woman like her. I would like to imagine that someday her and I could meet again and on that day we would become one dancing close together until the end of time, but I certainly won't hold my breath. It was only a dream from my perspective and that's all it will ever be; just a dream.....but it gave me hope and added a little something to my life that wasn't there before. Thank you !!!

M.iddle E.arth

M.iddle E.arth

As predictable as our thoughts and physical world are in reality, they are equally as unpredictable.
Thoughts are bound by no limits in any direction in terms of possibilities, except for meanings each individual chooses to perceive and accept as their truth. In this place, boundaries become self-illusionary boarders. A person can have everything so desired and yet, at the same time, they can feel overwhelmed by the feeling of emptiness and solitude. On-the-other-hand: a person can have nothing and feel content and humble with that which has been given no-matter how little it may be. But unbeknownst to most, a perception of balance exists between meaning, the physical reality. Here, in this place, one can dance in synchronicity with light creating a feeling of true fulfillment. The choice is there before them to "NOT" choose one opposition over the other but instead become one with the all-encompassing consciousness of their true being that exists between them both. I call this place "M.iddle E.arth"
