Good-Bye My Friend
Good-Bye
Good-Bye
No pain or frustration exists in my heart
Just love and a fleeting sense of embarrassment.
Friendship is far more important
Like the whales out at sea
And the roots of an old grown tree
I find peace in observation without judgement
And freedom for all things to be what they choose to be
Visible and naked for all to see
I walk forward with confidence
Unknowing of the feeling of fear
No one needs to know
So humble is thee
Like the careful foot steps of the woodland deer
And the passing of semi translucent clouds
That smear the blue sky above
There is a gift of comfort when I hear you say hello
But as it is with all things
I know someday you too must go
So, I will take a deep breath
Remember our time together deep within my heart
And let out an endearing sigh
Good-bye my friend;;;;;;; Good-bye
