It is I 

I fell in love today as I sat quietly, alone.

The air lingered with the essence of cologne 

I put away my phone

Focused on the rhythmic tones

Flowing from this fluttering heart

That lay gracefully in my hands

"It is I", said my heart

"I am yours to own"

Believe in me

And truth you shall be shown

I realized then that there's no greater love

Then the one I already have within me
