Just A Moment

Just A Moment

It only takes
Just a moment
To be aware
Of every person pausing
For just a moment
At this very moment
Just as
I am doing
Right now
That's a lot
Of moments needed
All at one time
Without even
Breaking a sweat
I wonder then
If two moments
Could connect together
In some un-peculiar way
Even though
These moments
May be
Very far away
How then
Can loneliness
Still be justified
If all we need to do
Is focus
On one moment
Be it me
Or be it you
Now
For the sake of
Just one moment
Let us put
Our cares aside
And imagine
We are connected
While our minds
Then coincide
Could I jump
Right to the next one
Like we do
With circus rides
As the moments
Keep on coming
To prevent them
Passing by
Do moments
Have an ending
Like the memo's
That we send
If it doesn't
Reach the inbox
Will it come back
Broke and bent
I wonder
If a moment
Has a mom
Or has a dad
That holds them
Really close
When feeling
Kinda sad
And when it's time
To go to bed
Dad would read
A momentous tale
Of someone
That's in need
Of Just
A single moment
To give relief
From heavy burden
Pushing down
Upon their scales
But know I think
It be a must
For me to have
One final Moment
Allowing me
To then adjust
My quickly fading
Thinking cap
Counting down
Approaching fast
In just a moment
Sleeping sound
My head descends
And gently down
Upon my cozy pillow
