The Key To Enlightenment

The Key
To Enlightenment

The Old Phone Rings but nobody is there to answer.

Happy birthday Santa, have an Easter egg for thanksgiving dessert just before we go for a night of trick or treating.
Balloons rise up like bread in a womb of a nuclear storm that rains down upon the social soldiers living in a house of illusion that plays like a crack on a black vinyl record.
Gold turns to iron and the weight of sin bleeds heavily, leaving a feeling of famine deep in the stomachs of the soul.
Break free from the tomb of lucid dismemberment as fragile particles split and multiply the reinforcement of scientific believe.
Don't be part of the holy baloney that supports the parties on the balcony of vomit-ocrisy
Your pillow is to rest a head full of forgiveness that has lived a day of goodness
Sit on a chair with 3 legs as the forbidden actions of a woman begs for the comfort of silk and down feathers.
Rusty hinges creak loudly that swing open the door to Jesus. Grace is upon you; wipe the sweat from your heart: light the fire of forgiveness: the silence of the whisper, lingers in the air that waits to be inhaled by the lungs of your true self.
Poetry is the key to enlightenment.

Doubt

Doubt

If "Doubt" tries to creep into the forest of your mind, It will hide in the shadows, hoping not to be detected as it smears its filth on your dreams and hopes. Unfortunately, "Doubt" will always fall prey if you have early warning detection devices in place, called Self Awareness. The tributes of your mind need to be connected and in harmony with one another, lending way to an open and free flowing environment. It needs to be perfect for supporting actions with good intent and an unbroken circle of trusting communication throughout. If all of this is in place then pure droplets of nourishing condensation forms on all surfaces. In this kind of perpetually growing culture, diversity shapes the landscape. Warmth will forever radiate out in the from of free flowing rivers of universal energy.

Simpler Days

Simpler Days

Simpler days
-- Out with the old ways, In with the new
-- He awakes
-- Sipping on a fresh cup of brew
-- A guys gotta do what a guys gotta do.
-- His brain is baked
-- He gets dressed and arrives to work a little late
-- He tries to live a good life of give and take
-- How much is to much
-- Did he get to little
-- He begins to think that life is a riddle...........
he gazes upon the Busker playing his fiddle.
-- Another cup of Joe
-- He drinks it on the go
-- No time for him again.
-- How long can this routine sustain................
                                                                          before his bough breaks again
-- Regrets, he's had a few
-- The dust from the busy city
                                                            Haa.......
                                                                   Haaaaa.......

Struggle No More

Struggle No More

4 legs and a shoe lace made of leather.
I don't recognize this song.
Itchy eyes and a heavy head.
I'm glad for the ink in my pen.
A greeting  from a face I know.
And a hot cup of Joe.
I feel a cool breeze.
My heart is full.
The sense of security now comes from knowing who I am.
It's as good as it's going to get thus far in this moment.
The best is yet to come.
Whether long or short be the road.
The Sun will shine on.
The rain will wet the land and the dark will hide the things I don't want to see.
A refill is at hand.
Thank God for supply and demand.
But how will the toothless man consume his mountain of spoils.
The power of repetition delivers a constant stream that avalanches down.
Behind their smiles is a dark and bitter frown and a self appointed crown.
In the midst of confusion; is hope; is a seed; is a promise.
If you will.
That waits to heal when the dust settles.
Dot...dot...dot...-Hmmmm
Put the arms down.
Pick up the fellow who's fallen.
Put love back on the menu.
Work we must
But Struggle no more
Struggle no more

That One Fine Day...

That One Fine Day...

Many colorful characters come and go
Some are high and some are low
Mother reaches out to them all
The hair on their necks stand tall
Winter's on its way
But still they bang their heads upon that invisible wall
Towering between them and that one fine day.
They have lots to say
And yet, fail to listen to her pleading wisdom,
That has stood the test of time,
Well-before, they where taught to pray
Poets write about it
Artists paint about it
And Story tellers hide the truth between the lines
Entertained are thee
But few will ever pay heed to the signs
A blade of grass will always be  blade of grass
My Dad once said
And the Devil will continue to dance, as long as he is fed
In this world, the hate will stay
Until, along comes, that one fine day,
When the axis of their souls does tilt,
Bringing an end to all War,
Busyness, Stress, fear and guilt
Then they'll struggle no more
From their hearts, a Light will shine bright
Giving their soul the gift of sight
Hate will turn to Love and Kindness
Fear will transform into True Freedom and Happiness
The World will never be the same
On
That One Fine Day...

Down Down Down From Whence It Came

Down Down Down
From Whence It Came

The mind is slow and the soul is fast
A duality meant for mold to cast
To keep all souls caged within the past
Dee pack of blackened pawns wants this fight to last
Fear, death and control from their guns will forever blast
Now the winds of truth blow down their flag and mast
Down down down  from whence it came
No one will be left for them to maim
The Earth is crumbling beneath their feet
Their end is near, they feel defeat
First came fire and water bringing death to Sons and daughters
Now comes wind and earth
And from this ash will come rebirth

Life Beneath My Feet

Life
Beneath My Feet

I turn my gaze to the shore
There I see a peppered landscape
of living shelled organisms clinging to life.
No protection is offered from the hungry birds
and local folk that have a taste for the sea.
They have no legs to help them escape.
They have no arms to wield a sword.
All they can do is wait and hope for the tide to return,
giving them a watery shield from the land-dwelling enemies above.
If they manage to survive their beached disposition,
another enemy awaits in the shadows below the waves.
In this place where fresh water flows from the mountains,
and softens the saltwater of the earth,
life and death come frequently.
A second thought is never given,
but instead accepted as it is.
Many Folk live a life that closely matches
to those living where land meets the sea.
They don't know how to defend themselves
so they hide in there shells,
hoping for a better day to come.

Resting Feather

Resting Feather

A feather rests upon a flower
During a summer rain shower
Leaving all its worries behind
Turning it's focus
Toward everything kind
Something one would find
After cleansing the mind

Peddles Of Glory

When you withhold the urge
to unfold your peddles of glory
You tomb you story
In blocks of stone
There, you will reside alone
With your treasures unknown
Until your hero comes to find you.

Magical Pie

Magical Pie

So sleepy am I
Another late night has passed us by
Barely awake -- face to face
Flashbacks of your see-through lace
I've been blessed with your feminine grace
Upon my lips your cream I taste
Not a single drop will go to waste
My tongue dips deep between your hips
I love  to dine on your fine
yummy mommy magical pie

Humble Beginnings

Humble Beginnings

Before a great rainstorm
a single rain drop must fall.
Its the answer to the hardest questions
whether big or whether small
Every event must have its humble beginning
Without it, one cannot bank on a guaranteed winning
Open the windows and doors to hear destiny call
Light a fire to warm your soul,
Catch the wind beneath your shawl
Then look outside your ticky-tacky little box stall
Have no fear as you step beyond the edge and fall
Don't be shy to ask for help along the way
As you venture out from your sheltered bay

Dope On A Rope

Dope On A Rope

It has a nice ring
I know it's just your thing
It's your power-trip fantasy
Pull him close when you feel inclined
Push him down when you go out on the town
Leaving him on his own
With his paper mache crown
He's your dope on a rope
He's your muscle and soap
He knows his place as he hangs about
You'll crack the whip if you hear him pout
You expect him to take care of you
As you do what you want to do
He's your man on a leash
Barefoot in the kitchen cooking up a feast
You'll have your cake, he'll eat your keash
You'll keep him in his place
Stepping hard upon the masculine race
As he states his case
What a feminine disgrace
But you are none the less
the woman of the house
All he'll hear is your ferocious roar
As you leave the house and slam the door.

Some Kind Of Spell

Some Kind Of Spell

When I awake I think of you
Betwixed from where I've been
And It would seem
I am under some kind of spell
Cast by cupid to which I fell
Saving me from the fires of hell
Your erotic touch still lingers under my skin
Giving life to a man that had taken it hard on the chin
By an ex wicked wife of the East
That had left his heart badly wrinkled and creased
So here I stand, loosed threads, rebuilding strand by strand
I've forgotten how love can feel
What's the deal
Have I lost my mind
Has my heart gone hard
Has my soul gone blind
I believe I can feel and see again better than ever before
If I step through loves revolving door
To where you are
Leaving behind where I've been
Shedding my old skin
My greatest adventure with you can now begin

The Things I Cannot See

The Things I Cannot See

My polarized thoughts shape me
My beliefs scape me
Keeping me from falling
Keeping me from stalling
I shine like my brother the sun
Whose job is an important one
None can deny the life it brings
As it makes all living things sing
A note is just another note without a melody to carry it through
My heart is just another heart without the love that shines bright from you
Glory, glory halleluiah, my heart and soul now sing a melody for two
Page by gilded page
Scented with oregano, rosemary and sage
Reminding me of the things I cannot see

Something Special ( A snap shot from my diary worth of remembrance)

Something Special

Yesterday I drove my new girl friend and her two daughters to the Vancouver Airport. They are going to Mexico. As she hugged and kissed me good-bye, she whispered  " I love you " in my ear. What? It shocked me a little, and made me feel a little awkward, but equally happy. I did not say it back to her because I'm not ready for that, but I really, really, really like her a lot and would like to continue dating her. We made love the night before, which will be the 6th time. She is really good in bed. I've made her cum 4 times. My nickname for her is " Tulip" because she loves the tulip flower, and because she wanted to kiss me so bad during the first 3 weeks of dating, but I resisted. LOL When she returned, she told me she said "I Love you", just in case she died on the way to Mexico. At least then she would have had the chance to say how she feels. It made me feel very guilty, I just wasn't ready. I needed time to develop this new relationship at my own pace. After she flew away, I awoke the next day feeling very happy. Yeah, I'm at Starbucks now contemplating this new adventure I'm on.

I Really Like You

I Really Like You

I really like you
And I think you like me too.

I know Spider Man can kiss upside down
And the queen can flash the jewels upon her golden crown
But I know how to make your eyes gleam and turn you frown upside down

I really, really like you
And I think you really, really like me too.

I know Jesus Christ was first to be free of sin
And George Hodgson was first to win gold at an Olympic swim
But I know I was the first to write you a poem that left goose bumps upon your skin.

I really, really, really like you
And I think you really, really, really like me too.

I may not be made of bullet proof raw hide
But I do know that deep inside me is a heart of gold
Waiting for a girl like you with a heart of gold too.

Diana's Love Retreat

Diana's Love Retreat

Dream Angel, dream of a night so hot
As sweet as whipped cream
Your passionate screams bump, bump, bumping off the walls
As my fingers creep up your lacy see through shawl
Dam you taste so good
Your honey dripping
Our bodies sweating
I'll bet you'll make me cream deep
Just after you go down to blow and our bodies meet
This love affair won't go down in defeat
If every night I get to eat desert at Diana's Love Retreat.

Simple Me.... Simple You

Simple Me... Simple You

Simple me....
In this mindset I see....
Endless days, day dreaming in the shade of Mother Earth's Knowledge Tree.

Feeding from its fruit....
Undressed of the corporate suit...
Listening to the music that flows from her silver flute.

Hither yonder...
My mind will continue to wonder....
As I search for a word or two to say to you
Under these endless skies of blue....

Simple You.....
Thinking happy thoughts, Tulip girl of red...
Soon enough you'll be in the comport of your cozy bed
Dreaming of words that your Shakespeare once said

To be or not to be.....
He loves me not, He loves me true....
Given time you'll bond as one from two

Diana's Tu-lips

Diana's Tu-lips

Another day is upon you as your night turns to day
God is smiling and sends his love your way
Outside Tu-lips gleam of colors galore
As your angels sing, dance and sore
The spring rains cleanse the air
Gentle winds cause tu-lips to sway and pair
Soon your heart will glow and your eyes will flutter
As your world gradually fills with butter...flies
That softly utter words that true Love's kiss is close at hand
In your heart the warmth of the sun will heat your shores of white sand
Lapping waves and blue sky will give way to a promise
That forever more this dream will never die.
Warm tears trickling down your cheek
Quivering hands and knees so week
Its just to bad the guy you love is such a freak. Lol

Caught In The Middle (Version One)

Caught In The Middle
Version One

I'm caught in the middle of famine and feast
Bumping heads with beauty and bewildering beast
I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't
My mother keeps says to put on a coat
So I won't catch walloping death of a cold
While Dad grumbles words that Disciples once told
I'll call it a day and  flip on a coin
Drink the red wine and dine on some loin
Have my fair share of the pudding and pie
I'll be Labeled in vain, what a good boy am I
Then in the end how would I feel
After I settle for something not real
I want what is best for them both don't you see
I'm caught in the middle, please let me be free
I'll break the mirror and calm the beast
So upon my soul it will not feast
Between you and me
Is not a good place to be

Yours For Now

Yours For Now

When I opened my heart to let you in
I had no idea of how to begin
There was you and there was me
And in between us both I could see
A promise of a happy family
You have your ways and I have mine
But if our love persists, in time we'll find
That our souls will lovingly combine
We both share in a dream
Unlike anything that's ever been seen
Like Rome, our love for one another will take more that a day to grow
That being said, you are worth working hard for, this I know
For now, I'm yours and maybe forever if you choose............

I Sit And Think of Yesterday

I Sit And Think Of Yesterday

Along a forest path I wonder
It's strewn with beautiful things to ponder

A Tulip over here and brook over there
Put on pause are my troubles and care

I sit and think of yesterday
I can't get back, I've lost my way

If your love for me is true
Fate will bring me back to you

At Rainbows End
(You'll Find But Brass)

I'm not sure my words I own
Having hewn from mental stone
Could it be I'm a leprechaun
To show the way to heart of gold
Instilling hope in the public pawn
I must admit that I am green
The prettiest face you've ever seen
But I will ask this one last time
Are these words my own to rhyme
Time will tell if truth be told
That in our hands our fate we hold
But till this day has come to pass
At rainbows end you'll find but brass

Someday Souls Will Sore Again

Someday Souls Will Soar Again

Rising higher this stony world.
Once so soft but now so knurled
Made of glass, rock and sweat.
A lot of lives were lost I bet
If you build they say they'll come
But at what cost to bring undone
I'd rather have the birds and bees
The water, dirt and tall tall trees
Someday souls will soar again
I say this strong in J.C's name
You can't hear and you can't see
But given time you'll be set free

This Mighty River - Connects us All

This Mighty River
Connects Us All

Here amongst these trees I think and sit
Upon this rocky out crop brightly lite
In the distance this mighty river calls
An invitation to walk its ancient shores
A journey downstream toward the sea
That began long before you and me
Its always given more to us than it takes
Blessing us with it's flowing grace
By filling the oceans and the lakes
It offers a home to fish we love to eat
It gives us clean water to wash our feet
Why then is it so
Disrespect, the people show
For lost in the depth of their soul
A mighty river flows to makes them whole
This is the love that connects us all
Follow the mighty river when you here it's call

Good Bye-Good Bye ( My Lover No More )

Good Bye-Good Bye
( My Lover No More )

I saw your soul - we fused into one
I touched your body - we shined like the sun
I thought what we had could not be undone
I swam in your love - we danced with such style
While Angels in heaven danced all the while
Then life look its toll and push came to shove
Murky and muddy became your clear love
Your soul shut it's eyes
Blocking my view with a darkened disguise
I tried to make right our life that went wrong
But you seemed to forget the words to our song
"You'll Love Me Forever Till Death Do Us Part"
Without any warning - Without Disregard
You pulled out your dagger and shattered my heart
The ground all around me was covered in shard
Piercing with pain I fell to one knee
When I was down you stomped upon me
I knew it was over - I knew I had failed
Loosing your love took the wind from my sail
Your hatred for me drove in the last nail
As I lay in my coffin choking and pale.
Now I have risen to begin a new life
But I still bare the scares where you shoved in your knife
I'll always remember the good sides of you
I'll always remember the person I knew.
I know deep inside you still must exist
The woman I loved, the woman I miss
All I can do now is ask the Lord please
That you will recover as I pray on my knees
Good bye, Good Bye this parting must be
Now two single people- No longer are we.
Good bye, Good Bye my lover no more
Without reservation I can now close the door

The Slipstream Of Love

The Slipstream Of Love

I awoke from a dream
Only to be cast into loves slipstream
It was filled with broken hearts that bled of black ink
Destined for a hole at the bottom of life’s sink
Stained were the walls of this downward spiral
Like a song on side B that skipped on black vinyl
Oh how I wish it would snow a white, white world again
Lite by Dawn’s first light and free from emotional pain
Where I just might ride upon the wings of grace
And feed upon the love written on a snow angel’s face
She would lift me up from the bottom of the drain
Cleansing my heart of the blackened ink stain
Coloring my sky once again with shades of blues and pinks
And until this day will come upon
I’ll dream of home and a green, green lawn
While I hum a tune that will echo into space
In hopes that she will send her grace
To save me from this morbid place
